Hi there! My name is Lindsay. I am a certified IAYT yoga therapist and a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and I have been teaching yoga since 2003. As a baby boomer myself I have a keen interest in the healthy ageing aspects of yoga. I offer group and private yoga sessions in Bearsden, Glasgow. My Gentle and Chair Yoga classes will give you an increased sense of vitality and energy and are safe, fun and accessible to all.
I am a graduate of the Yoga Therapy Diploma course at YogaCampus, accredited by the British Council of Yoga Therapists and I am a member of the CNHC, the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council as well as being an experienced registered teacher of Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs. I know that a regular gentle yoga practice can help you stay strong, flexible, mobile and mentally sharper. It can help you maintain your sense of balance, improve your posture and help you cope with all the ups and downs of life.
I offer group sessions and private sessions that are designed to support the needs and individual goals of each and every student. Students receive individual attention and are offered practices tailored to their everyday needs. I can also provide students with long-term support where necessary.
Yoga is one of the best all round practices for maintaining health and fitness and helping to prevent the on-set of age-related diseases and it is also a great way to meet people and make new friends while at the same time doing something positive for your own health and well-being.
